Goals

Develop a flexible, version-controlled pop-up system to promote free product add-ons without requiring frequent manual code updates in the e-commerce platform.

Contributions

Created a dynamic JavaScript-based pop-up script hosted on GitHub for version control and easy updates. Implemented cache-busting via timestamp injection. Designed the script to accept key content attributes (image URL, title text, destination URL) as inputs, enabling highly customizable pop-ups across different pages. Built the system to be lightweight and reusable across multiple store implementations.

Outcomes

Enabled fast deployment of promotional pop-ups with no need for manual front-end edits. Provided marketing and merchandising teams with a flexible tool to drive add-to-cart conversions. Improved maintainability and scalability of promotional UX elements across the e-commerce ecosystem.
