Goals

Design a visually striking flyer for *Electro Soul Techno*, a multi-room DJ event held at a Baltimore graffiti warehouse — blending soulful, vintage music influences with modern electro and techno aesthetics.

Contributions

Collaborated with the event organizer to create a flyer concept centered around a cyborg figure playing a trumpet, visually balancing themes of classic soul and futuristic sound. Designed a layered composition featuring a muted graffiti background, illustrative and floral elements, and a glowing neon-inspired color palette of blues and purples. Integrated subtle circular and bubble motifs to create visual contrast and depth. Applied clean, straightforward typography to highlight the DJ lineup clearly. Added textural overlays to evoke a printed, tactile feel. Delivered final promotional assets for both print and digital channels.

Outcomes

Produced a bold and memorable event flyer that resonated with attendees and the DJ community. Helped drive strong turnout for the event, with several participants providing positive feedback on the design. Sparked additional freelance interest and future collaboration opportunities from within the local scene.
